The DCH-3000TM DVB QAM Modulator, which combines QPSK demodulator, DS3 adapter(optional), DVB TS PID Filter and digital cable QAM (DVB-C) modulator in a single unit. It supports 4 input modes, including QPSK signal from satellite, DS3 signal from HFC system, ASI and SPI (LVDS) input, and then transmodulates the input signal to digital QAM signal. It also supports 3 output modes, including DVB-ASI output, RF output and DS3 (optional) output. PBI DCH-3000TM adapts Ethernet WEB Management interface complying with HTTP protocol, which allows real-time status monitoring and control. It can obtain the PSI/SI information coming from each input port and multiplex them up to 1 TS with PCR Error Correction.
DCH-3000TM can also be called Multi-protocol TS Processor and QAM transmodulator. It is mainly applied to transmitting DVB-C signal in HFC, MMDS and MUDS systems.
